SKU status reference
Every SKU in RevoStock carries an inventory health status — a single label that summarises whether that product needs attention right now. Statuses are calculated automatically after each data sync and whenever you save a change to your replenishment configuration. This reference explains what each status means, what action (if any) is appropriate, and how statuses control the order in which SKUs appear in the Buying Table.
The seven statuses

| Restock | Stock is adequate for now but is forecast to drop below your safety stock floor before the next natural reorder cycle. Action is needed soon. | Review the suggested reorder quantity, adjust if necessary, and add to the Restock Cart. |
| Zero Stock | Available stock is currently zero. The SKU may still have incoming stock on the way. | Check whether a purchase order is already in transit (look at the Incoming pill). If not, add to the Restock Cart immediately. |
| Healthy | Stock levels are sufficient against forecasted demand and your configured safety stock floor. No reorder action is required at this time. | No action needed. Check back after the next sync. |
| Excess | Stock is significantly above your target coverage level. Capital is tied up in inventory that will take a long time to sell through. | Consider running a promotion or pausing reorders for this SKU to free up cash flow. |
| Replenishing | A purchase order is already placed and incoming stock is on the way. RevoStock is aware of the inbound quantity and factors it into projections. | Monitor the expected arrival date. No new order is needed unless the incoming quantity is insufficient. |
| Disabled | This SKU has been excluded from replenishment planning, either individually or via a vendor or category rule in your replenishment configuration. RevoStock will not generate reorder suggestions for it. | If this was unintentional, open the replenishment configuration and re-enable the SKU or its parent rule. |
Sort order in the Buying Table
The Buying Table always surfaces the most time-sensitive SKUs first. The default sort priority is:
- Restock Urgent
- Restock
- Zero Stock
- Replenishing
- Healthy
- Excess
- Disabled
Within each status group, SKUs are sorted by days until stockout (ascending), so the most critical items appear at the very top of each group.
How statuses are recomputed
RevoStock recalculates every SKU's status in two situations:
- After each sync — whether that is an automatic hourly sync or a manual sync you trigger from the app.
- When replenishment configuration changes — saving any change to lead time, days of supply, safety stock, MOQ, or trigger mode causes a recalculation for all affected SKUs. A stale config banner appears at the top of the page during recalculation; it disappears once the new statuses are ready.
Because statuses reflect a point-in-time snapshot, a SKU may move between statuses between sessions as sales occur and new forecasts are generated.
Deep links from the Dashboard
Each KPI stat card on the Dashboard — for example, the Restock Urgent count card — is a clickable link that opens the Buying Table pre-filtered to that status. This lets you jump directly from a summary number to the specific SKUs that need attention, without manually setting the filter yourself.
