Dashboard shows no data after sync completes

It can be disorienting when the sync finishes successfully but the Dashboard KPI cards show zeros, the Demand or GMV charts are blank, or the Top SKUs table appears empty. This is almost always caused by one of a handful of easy-to-fix conditions — work through the steps below in order.

Try this

  1. Refresh the page. The Dashboard may have loaded its frame before the data files finished publishing. A hard refresh (Ctrl + Shift + R on Windows, Cmd + Shift + R on Mac) is enough to rule this out.

  2. Check the data-sync indicator. At the top of the Dashboard page, look for the sync status indicator. It should read "Synced [date] [time]" with a recent timestamp. If it says "No data has been synced yet", click Run sync and wait for it to complete before checking the Dashboard again.

  3. Check whether your store has order history. RevoStock's Demand and GMV charts are driven by actual sales orders. A brand-new store with no completed orders will show empty charts — that is expected behavior, not an error. KPI cards may also show zeros until at least a few orders exist for the AI to learn from.

  4. Check inventory tracking in Shopify. SKUs that do not have "Track quantity" enabled in Shopify are marked as Disabled in RevoStock and are excluded from Dashboard metrics. To include them, enable quantity tracking on the product variant in Shopify Admin, then trigger a new sync.

  5. Dismiss or act on the stale config banner. If a yellow banner at the top of the Dashboard reads "Replenishment config has changed since your last sync", your current settings have not yet been applied to the data. Click Recalculate now to run an updated sync with your latest configuration.

  6. Check for a Shopify plan mismatch banner. If your Shopify subscription tier recently changed, a banner may appear asking you to update your RevoStock plan mapping. Completing that flow can unblock data display.

caution

If the sync indicator shows a recent timestamp but all tiles remain empty after a page refresh, do not run repeated syncs back-to-back. One sync at a time is enough — running multiples simultaneously can cause them to compete and slow each other down.

Still stuck?

If the Dashboard is still empty after working through all the steps above, contact RevoStock support — see Contacting RevoStock support. Include your store's .myshopify.com URL and the timestamp shown in the sync indicator so the team can investigate the right sync run.
